Curry Shines, Jokic Struggles in Abu Dhabi Exhibition
Team USA defeated Serbia 105-79 in an exhibition game in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday afternoon, as both teams prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Serbia's Top Player Struggles
Nikola Jokić, Serbia's star center, struggled against Team USA, finishing with 16 points and 11 rebounds on 6-of-19 shooting. Meanwhile, Stephen Curry led Team USA with 28 points, connecting on 8-of-10 from the field.
Despite Jokić's struggles, Serbia still held a 70-63 lead with 7:07 remaining in the half. However, an and-one finish from LeBron James cut the deficit to three points.
Team USA then went on a run, outscoring Serbia 42-16 in the final 12 minutes to secure the victory.
